With the opening of the new bond street store Victoria has not disappointed her UK fans. with a huge floor space there is nothing left out, giving us a real insight into the famous American brand that fills millions of women's knicker draws. now we have our own store we can stock up on frills, patterns, thongs, and all things sexy! its about time that the great women of Britain embraced they inner "Anna" and gave into the lingerie that you have always wanted.
i have had a good look around the shop myself and it is a real experience, angel costumes everywhere to observe and admire, along with a little profile describing which model has word the outfits. and of course one of my favourite parts, the photographs! it is hard not to stand there staring, regardless of your sexuality, you cannot deny, these women are simply beautiful.
so why not head down to Bond Street and have a look for yourself! you will be wowed!

Post holiday blues
After a rather eventful few weeks I am beginning to feel that I will never remove myself from my beautiful double bed. Even though I got back from Zante well over a week ago I still cannot bring myself to actually do anything productive. I certainly do not envy those who have to go straight back to work after their holidays, but hey I am making the most of being a student.
We had a great time in zante rocking the holiday chic- lots of denim shorts being thrown about here and there. And the strip was crop top galore. It is amazing though how you step off the plane on holiday and it is automatically acceptable to just strip down to the bear minimum in terms of clothing.
Whilst siting by the beach there were many a white bikini, but it was also refreshing to see a few that were a bit more daring- experimenting with mix matched looks, and plenty of frills and added extras to make the swim wear look even more appealing.
One of the girls I was with had a beautiful bright scarlet red bikini, and completely covering one of the straps was a huge array of red flowers. Very sex and the city!

Its Been A While

Been rather bad at keeping my page up to date. Apologies!
Been super busy- on holiday in Turkey, a week enjoying the sunshine in Manchester, and then looking after four beautiful cockapoos at home.
I am currently emerging myself into the job market- attempting to impress large companies with a lot of talk of how amazing I am... As a result feeling rather uncomfortable.

Even More Dior

I adore the simplicity of the up do that the model has been given. It allows the attention to be solely on the dress.
The definition of being different. This is a daring dress for a big day, I am not sure I would have the guts to attempt to pull this off.

Nettle Tea
I have been reading a few articles about nettle tea, how models drink a mug full after every meal. The tea provides cures to diseases, along with having a slight laxative effect. So if the top models are giving it a go, I thought I may as well too...
I am only on day one and i can't say my body feels invincible and disease free just yet, not that I felt it was before hand..! But like I said earlier, if it is good enough for those at the top, then it is good enough for me.

Fast Fashion
I must say one of my all time favourite shops is Zara, with continual fresh ideas being brought in on a weekly basis, Zara is at the forefront of what the industry calls Fast Fashion.
The modern day consumer is becoming increasingly more demanding, retailers have jumped on this opportunity, and if you look closely the traditional season is now being split. Designer collections will always (i hope!) follow the two season per year trend. However, with all these divas to cater for high street has to be a lot more open to changes within the particular season. Influxes of new fresh ideas are being introduces as the seasons go on, keeping the buyers happy with all the new things! There is absolutely nothing better than new stock!
But back to my love of Zara, it is at the top of the game when it comes to FF, so a little hint, if you see it and you love it, just buy it, because it won't be around for too long!

Bikini Time
Its that time of year once again. I am heading off on holiday in less than three weeks, and I do not appear to have a bikini that is even vaguely wearable. Searching high and low throughout the shops today proved highly unsuccessful.. So I have resorted to my last resort, internet shopping. It may be a retail phenomenon, however it is just not for me, it is so easy to be sucked into a basket full of garments that you (deep deep deep deep down) know that you are not going to wear, or they may not look right, or may not even fit. All in all a general dilemma in my opinion.
HOWEVER, I have gone against my general dislike of internet shopping too have a little browse. I could hear Victoria practically screaming my name from across the pond. And boy did she have some secrets in store. Now just to choose which one will be flying my way...

New Hair
After my sheer excitement of getting my hair done I completely forgot to upload a photo! I am pleased with my new hair, it is very different and I must say I am still getting used to it.

Apologies for not keeping in touch, hectic life is my only excuse. I wanted to share some fab photos i took in London the other day whilst shopping with mumsey. All day I was itching to get the Harvey Nichols to see what their S/S12 windows had on offer. They certainly did not disappoint.
Above an old fashioned sweet shop with a modern summer soaked customer.

Inspiration has clearly been taken from the old traditional shops in London, a traditional sweet shop, and market stall infused with S/S12 bursts of print and candy colours. Promoting the best of British heritage, a huge influence on fashion at the mo. The windows would not have been completed without our red post box, and loyal Bull terrier.

The time and effort that goes into visual merchandising is not always appreciated. A sharp creative mind is paramount, with the ability to catch peoples eyes, influencing what they buy before they have even stepped through the doors.
Harvey Nichols is by far one of my favourites for their window displays. Classy, elegant and chic.

to my new readers- welcome aboard. I must warn you that my blog is a work in progress hobby at the moment, I am still finding my feet in the world of blogging- and I MUST apologise of my horrendous spelling, I am sure you will soon get used to it.

Karlie Kloss
One of my favourite models for the past few years, Miss Kloss. Seen on Vogue.com wearing not one but two ball gowns voted most dramatic. She came onto the scene when she was just 16 years old- and yet just a few years on he is one of the most recognisable faces on the catwalk.
Her tall slender figure fitting the garments beautifully; it is not hard to see why the designers love having her in their shows. Discovered- believe it or not- in an American shopping centre doing a charity fashion show supporting her friend who was suffering from cancer. With agencies al across the globe she is certainly not short of for, so we will be seeing a lot more of her in years to come.

I always enjoy the VOGUE covers- portraying a super stylish, classy, chic side of fashion. It is such a contrast to my usual sight of Manchester students making their way to lectures in Jack Wills tracksuit bottoms and hoodie to match. VOGUE allows you to escape for a few hours per month to a life where everything oozes luxury. I know it is a personal goal to be successful, just to enable me to appreciate this kind of luxury fashion more so than within the pages of VOGUE and ELLE magazine.

Easter spring look
It's spring time, and we are all looking for that fresh faced look. With candy colours popping through in our retilers we seem to be getting into the spirit quite efficiently. It is a shame about the weather turning colder again over this past week, but I challenge you to your best spring look for Easter day. Get out that mint pair of jeans, the tinted moisturiser and of course a brand new updo. There are some unique ones seen on VOGUE online, along with some gorgeous new shades of lip colour.
